COBDEN - A castle-like dwelling nestled in the hills of northern Union County near Cobden is the subject of the next installment in the public television series, WSIU InFocus.

Designed in the 1960s by two Southern Illinois University Carbondale professors, Bruce Goff in the architecture department and Hugh Duncan in sociology, the Goff Duncan Castle was built to look at home amid the bluffs. The structure utilizes Goff's signature of creating innovative and expressive buildings that use local resources.

Goff Duncan Castle is used as a bed and breakfast by owner Glen Etzkorn. The program, which debuts Friday, will take viewers on a tour of the home as Etzkorn shows off the unique aspects of the building.
