ALTO PASS - The Union County Drug Task Force made a big marijuana bust Tuesday with the cooperation of the Jackson County Drug Task Force and the office of State's Attorney Allen W. James.
A search warrant was issued Tuesday on the property of Terry Breeding, 56, located at 160 Harris Lane, in Alto Pass.
Police found 26 cannabis plants, numerous trash bags full of process cannabis, and other items associated with the production of cannabis, according to a release by James' office.
The search warrant was issued after Breeding was witnessed by police surveillance to be tending to another area where cannabis plants were being grown. James noted in the release that police believe other cannabis patches have not yet been located.
Breeding was charged with manufacture and production of cannabis.
