MURPHYSBORO -- A Murphysboro man was arrested and charged with DUI and reckless driving after he allegedly drove through people’s yards late Tuesday, police said.

" To madblogger; It is just you. If you compare the press every town/city gets, it looks like Murphysboro seems to put out more info. Remember a while back when Carbondale withheld the press on the police car shot? The media caught rumor of it and the city powers that be keep the info away from the press until called on it. And just so you know, this is not a slam at you becuase I always look forward to your comments! You are mostly "right on".
Believe me, Carbondale has it's share of crime. The problem is, if you publish every story, there wouldn't be room for anything else. "
