SIEC wraps up power restoration work from Sunday's storm

DONGOLA – Except for a couple of isolated cases, all known power outages from Sunday’s strong wind storm have been restored to all Southern Illinois Electric Cooperative members, company officials said.

At the peak of the outage, over 3,500 members were without power.

SIEC thanked customers for their patience and encouragement offered to crews throughout the restoration process.
