Engineer to report on Bald Knob Cross condition

ALTO PASS -- An E.T. Simonds structural engineer will release the results of his survey of the interior structure of Bald Knob Cross Tuesday.

The findings will be announced at the monthly public meeting of the Friends of the Cross, the organization aimed at raising money to restore and repair the 111-foot tall monument atop Bald Knob in Alto Pass.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Alto Pass Civic Center.
