Red Cross offering help to flood victims

HERRIN — The Red Cross is offering those affected by the flood help free of charge. All assistance is given on a case-by-case basis depending on the urgency of needs.

Help can include clothing, groceries, shoes, medicines and other necessary items. To receive assistance, call (866) 438-4636.

To donate to the Red Cross to help victims, contributions may be sent to American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, 112 E. Walnut, Herrin, IL 62948.
