Not to date myself, but if you ever watched that old HBO show, “Dream On,” the intro at the beginning of the shows has the main character through the years, growing up and watching TV. Well, that’s me.
I grew up at my Dad’s side watching Andy Taylor, Fred G. Sanford, and Jed Clampett. When I was very little, he started taking me to comic book shops to get the latest Superman, Batman or Justice League comic. At 12, I discovered Bob Dylan and music took over my life. I’ve always liked to read, write, and listen and I’ve always had a bizarre fascination with pop culture.
Now, I’m a writer for the Southern Illinoisan, writing for their Lifestyles sections and specifically for the Flipside entertainment magazine. This blog is a way for us to keep you completely connected to all things cool and exciting in the world of entertainment, nationally and locally.
